This year’s Ghost Train at Stanley Park guarantees to be a hit with children of all ages! Along with a spooky train ride, your ticket includes face painting, crafts, pumpkin carving, costume contest and a Haunted Maze! Get out and enjoy the fresh fall air in our beautiful city! The Ghost Train runs from October 7th-31st, and the hours are from 6-10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 6-11pm for Friday and Saturdays. Prices are $6.25 for ages 2-18 and $9.82 for adults.

StrongStart Program Langley BC

Looking for a program to stimulate your toddler? StrongStart may be the perfect solution for you and your little one. StrongStart BC is a great program implemented by the provincial government for young families. It is a drop-in classroom for parents and their children aged birth – 5 years old. Qualified early childhood educators run this three hour program from Monday to Friday at certain elementary schools around the province. There are currently 9 locations set up in greater Langley. The nice thing about this program is that it is at no cost to families: it is completely free! The only requirement is that you sign up and provide a photocopy of your child’s birth certificate. Another benefit is the drop-in nature of the program. You do not have to preregister, but rather just show up whenever you are able! Components of the program usually include circle time, story time, gym time, craft time and free time. Check out this great program today at a location near you!
