Taking the time that is necessary to capture your child’s real spirit, Deborah allows plenty of time for your child to warm up to us and the environment.
During your whimsical session you will start by choosing your favorite background (if you haven’t already done so), along with an appropriate outfit for your child.
NOTE: If you are booking for more than one child or if you wish to have more than one portrait created, please let us know in advance so that we can schedule enough time for each session.
Step-by-Step …

#4 – You proof and choose your favorite photo/pose/expression on our computer monitor
Then the magic begins …
We understand that some children are camera shy and why their parents worry about the whole portrait experience. We are the only portrait studio that allows you to hold and comfort your child while their portrait is being taken. This is particularly convenient for babies and toddlers.
By simply slipping a specially coloured sleeve over the parent’s arm they can safely hold their child, knowing that later during the portrait finishing stage their arm will be digitally painted out when the background is painted in.
Once these basic steps are complete, your selected image is sent to our portrait artist who will use digital imaging and enhancements to create your completely whimsical portrait – a one-of-a-kind piece of art!
While in their capable hands, our artists incorporates the image of your child with your chosen background, they airbrush any bumps, bruises or blemishes and even add wings to your “little angel” if you so desire.
Your heartwarming art-inspired portraits will be ready for pickup in approximately two to three weeks (we will inform you at the time of your session exactly when your prints will be ready).
